I. Message from the Apostate

1. After you have reached level 40 and finished the series of "Heavy Responsibility", you can visit Hector in Sun City, who'll give you the new quest.

 

 

2. Talk to the Apostate(373,335) from the Hidden Sun Sect, who is near the Pavilion, before you talk to Hector again.

 

 

3. Inform the four States about what you've learned by talking to their State Affairs Officers in each state capital.

4. Report to Hector after you finish step 3.

 

II. Punish Public Enemy

1. Though all the four State Affairs Officers reach a consensus that they should work together to punish their common enemy, the Hidden Sun Sect, they have no power to act. However, Hector has a good idea. He asks you to group up with three other players, each from the other three States. When you become team leader, talk to Hector.

2. When you meet all the requirements, Hector will send you to a backroom and ask you to kill the Butcher, a member of the Hidden Sun Sect.

Note: You must be grouped up, as described in the preceding step.

3. Report to Hector after completing the mission.

 

III. Whisper with the Spy

1. Hector tells you something about the coordinator of the Hidden Sun Sect in Zhou State and he has secretly sent a Master Spy to watch the cult. Besides, he also gives you the Ghost Portrait, the quest item needed in your following actions.

2. You should talk to the coordinator of Hidden Sun Sect, Swordsman Keith (178,293) in Koni. He'll send you to the Grand Supplicator's Mansion if you have the Ghost Portrait.

 

 

3. Once again you find yourself in the Grand Supplicator's Mansion. You must first find the Master Spy (25, 30) sent by Hector for more clues.

 

 

 

IV. Murder Messenger

1. The Master Spy will tell you the information about the Hidden Sun Messenger.

2. Kill the Hidden Sun Messenger and get the Confidential Letter. After killing him, you'll also receive another quest item called Unusually Bead which is useful in the next quest. 

 

 

3. Take the Confidential Letter to the Master Spy and ask him to have it translated.

4. Ask the Master Spy to tell you what's in the letter. The quest is over.

 

V. Trap

1. You plan to enter the Grand Supplicator's Mansion again to find more clues. Take the entrance (121, 84).

2. Find the Strange Steel (348,157) in the Underground Palace.

 

 

3. Check the Strange Steel and you will be teleported to a new place called Quiet Room.

4. Talk to the Mysterious Man in the Quiet Room, and then you will be ambushed by Hidden Sun Sect assassins. You must slay all of them. Afterwards, talk to the Mysterious Man again. He will teleport you to a new place called Mist Cloister.

Note: The Mysterious Man will dispatch 6 ambushers and you're required to kill all of them within 5 minutes.

 

VI. Go through the Mist Cloister

1. When you are teleported to the Mist Cloister, you will receive this quest.

2. Monsters in the first area drop a "Skeleton Decree", which is required if you want to go to the second area by the Summoning Station (each decree can be used only once).

 

 

3. Monsters in the second area are quite strong. You’d better try your best to keep away from them and get to the end of this area where you can find a teleportation stone. Check it and you will be teleported to the third area.

4. You must find Fatso Master (131,372) in the third area. Talk to him and he’ll assign you the quest "Fatso's Defiance" in which you are required to kill his pet, a gigantic ape. After that, talk to Fatso Master, who will teleport you to the forth area.

 

 

5. There is an Old Guard (305,330) in the fourth area. Talk to him and you will receive the quest "Hunt for Essential Pills". You can collect Essential Pills by killing the monsters in this area. Remember: the stronger the monsters are, the more likely they will drop the pills. After finishing the quest, talk to the Old Guard and you will be teleported to the next area.

 

 

6. You don't need to do any quest in the fifth area but shun the monsters. Try to find a teleportation stone, which will teleport you to the Secret Prison: the dungeon where the true Prince Oscar is held.

Note:
A. When you want to go to the next floor, complete the quest required. If you leave halfway into it, you'll fail.
B. The item required in the first floor is the "Skeleton Decree".
C. Each time you cross the Mist Cloister, you need to finish the quest as required. If you leave halfway into it, you'll fail.

 

VII. Ultimate Rescue

1. Finally, you arrive at the Secret Prison after crossing the Mist Cloister. Here, you'll find Prince Oscar. Talk to him to confirm his identity.

2. After you confirm that he's the real one, the Prince asks you to kill the Grand Supplicator Arthur.

3. Find Arthur (145,156) and kill him. You'll receive his Wand.

4. Report to the Prince. The Prince is well pleased with you and he gives you another quest, "Hate Engine". The aim of this quest is to destroy the Hate Engine, which the Hidden Sun Sect is working on.

In this quest You need to first collect the "Sacrificial Oil", "Sacrificial Heart", "Sacrificial Weapon" and "Sacrificial Charm" from the Elites in the four corners of the Secret Prison. They're the Northern Reckless Warrior, the Champion Shadowless Killer, the Peerless Swordsman and the Star-clipping Wizard. These four items are used to activate four altars, which are just near the four Elites. Each altar will stay open for a set duration. The Marvelous Light appears when all the four altars are opened at the same time. The Light will send you to the next area: the Sealed Space.

 

 

5. Go back and talk to Prince Oscar after you successfully destroy the Hate Engine and return the Prince back to Sun City.

6. Report to Hector and the State Affairs Officer in your own State to claim your rewards.

   

 Congratulations! The Rescue Prince quest is completed.
