Liege-Vassal System
The Liege-Vassal System invites a new conception of in-game mutual benefits. It helps a novice player reach lv40 more quickly and with less cost. Also it brings with its users many unique edges.
When utilizing the Liege-Vassal System, players above level 40 must recruit 1-2 players below level 25, at which time the level 40 players will become lieges to the level 25 players also known as the liege's vassals.
The liege will enjoy an experience bonus of 5%- 10 % for each of his vassals who are online as the same time as he. In addition, the liege will gain reputation bonuses and will be granted an exclusively rewarding quest upon the vassal achieving level 40, thus completing the liege-vassal relationship. It is a Medal of Honor that the liege will receive if he has 10 vassals reaching level 40. The Medal, possessing a vast array of special attributes, can essentially enhance one's prowess when equipped.
On the other hand, vassals will boost 120% Hp and Mp when being online with the liege. Thus they are more endurable in battles and exploring for unknown, perilous zones. Challenging formidable monsters and solving enigmatic puzzles also will come more cheaply with the tutelage of the liege. Apprenticeships ending at level 40, they will be granted a mysterious gift as the reward for their arduous practices.
Here are the details of how the system works:
1. Entering into a liege-vassal relationship
In v7300, there is a new "liege" option in the interface which opens when you shift + right-click on another player. This option can be used to initiate the process of entering into a liege-vassal relationship.
2.Liege or vassal requirements:
a.Any player below level 25 can have a liege. He finishes his training upon reaching level 40.
b.Any player higher than level 40 can have vassals.
3.Number of lieges and vassals
Each liege can only have 2 vassals at any given time. Each vassal can only have one liege.
4.Severing the liege-vassal relationship
a.Apprenticeship ends: When a vassal reaches level 40, his apprenticeship under his liege lord officially comes to a close. After the liege accepts the special liege reward, the relationship disengages automatically.
b.Unilateral disengagement: If you are unsatisfied with your liege or your vassal, you can unilaterally sever your ties
1).When the liege unilaterally disengages the relationship he must pay 10000 gold and he can't take any new vassals for three days after the disengagement. Method: Select the vassal whom you want to remove, and then click the "Disengage" button. The vassal will then receive a notice notifying him of his severed status as well as the penalty his former liege must pay. Clicking "Yes" acknowledges the completion of the disengagement.
2).When the vassal unilaterally disengages the relationship he must pay 5000 gold and he can neither take a new liege nor (in some rare instances) take on vassals of his own for three days after the disengagement. Method: Select the liege whom you want to remove, and then click the "Disengage" button. The liege lord will then receive a notice notifying him of his severed status as well as the penalty his former vassal must pay. Clicking "Yes" acknowledges the completion of the disengagement.
3).If either the liege or vassal deletes his character, the liege-vassal relationship is automatically severed without any penalties.
5.Liege Announcements:
Lieges have the right to issue Liege Announcements. A liege can send announcements to his vassals at any time simply by clicking the "Liege Announcement" button.
a.The benefits of the liege-vassal relationship:
1).Benefit for vassals: When the liege and vassal are both online, the vassal's Max. HP and Max. MP are increased by 20%.
2).Benefit for lieges: When the liege and vassal are both online, the liege gains 5% more Exp for each vassal who is online at the same time as him.
b.Additional Benefits for lieges:
1).When the vassal finishes any primary quest or branch quest below level 40, and if the liege and the vassal are grouped up together and in the same scene, the liege's loyalty will increase by 1. Loyalty points can be exchanged for reputation points when the vassal finishes learning.
2).The liege and the vassal can do the "Liege-Vassal Quest" together in order to gain rewards and loyalty points. Loyalty points can be exchanged for reputation points when the vassal finishes learning.
c.The benefit of completing the liege-vassal relationship
1).Vassal reward: The vassal receives a very nice level 40 weapon.
2).Liege rewards: The liege can go to the Novice Tutor in Phoenix Village or the Royal Master in Sun City to receive his rewards: 10 reputation points; loyalty-based bonus reputation (1 reputation point for every 1 loyalty point); and a Colourful Silk Pack which can be transformed into special material.
d.The benefit of having multiple vassals:
1).When a liege has had 10 vassals who have completed their training, he can go to the Novice Tutor in Phoenix Village or the Royal Master in Sun City to receive a "Level 1 Medal of Honor".
2).Whenever 10 more of the liege's vassals finish learning, he can go to the Novice Tutor in Phoenix Village or the Royal Master in Sun City to get a Medal of Honor of higher level.
3).The Medals of Honor have elemental attributes. If you want to change the elemental attribute of your medal, take it to the Tutor in Phoenix Village or the Royal Master in Sun City.
4).You can sell the Medal of Honor. If you sold, talk to the Tutor in Phoenix Village or the Royal Master in Sun City to buy a new one. The purchase price for a brand new medal is 10000 times the level of the medal.
6.Liege-Vassal quest:
a.The NPC who provides the quest is the Royal Master in Sun City.
b.Quest requirement:
1).The liege must group up with one of his vassals and he must be the group leader. The group leader must talk to the Royal Master.
2).Neither of the two players can have already done the quest for that day.
c.How to do the quest:
1).When the quest starts, the two players will be sent to the "Liege-Vassal Challenge Backroom". A 30-minute timer engages.
2).The liege and the vassal must find and kill the guardian beast within the time limit. The vassal must then interact with the "Legendary Treasure Chest" to receive the prize inside.
3.)If the "Legendary Treasure" is successfully retrieved, the players will be teleported to Sun City. Visit the Royal Master and give him the legendary treasure to complete the quest.
4.)If the vassal can't find the legendary treasure, the players will still be teleported to Sun City to speak with the Royal Master. However, the quest will fail.
5)."Troublemaking Monsters" are guarding the "Teleportation Devices" in three locations. Players can't be teleported out unless the Troublemaking Monsters are killed first.
Notice:
1).Each person can only take the quest once per day.
2).If the liege leaves the "Liege-Vassal Challenge Backroom" because of death, disconnection or any other reason within the time limit, the quest fails.
3).If the vassal leaves the "Liege-Vassal Challenge Backroom" because of death, disconnection or any other reason within the time limit, he can talk to the Royal Master and enter the "Liege-Vassal Challenge Backroom" again. But if the liege is offline when this happens, the vassal can't enter the "Liege-Vassal Challenge Room" again and the quest fails for good. If the liege is online, the vassal will be teleported back to the Room to continue the quest.
4).The mob levels are related to the liege's level. For example, if the liege is between levels 50 and 59, the mobs will be levels 51, 53, 56 and 58. Protect your vassal well.
d.Quest rewards:
1).Vassal rewards: 10000 Exp, 2 reputation points and 5 loyalty points.
2).Liege rewards: 2 reputation points; an amount of gold based on the level of the liege – Levels 40 to 49 receive 2000 gold; levels 50 to 59 receive 3000 gold; levels 60 to 69 receive 4000 gold; levels 70 to 79 receive 5000 gold; levels 80 to 89 receive 6000 gold; and levels 90 or higher receive 7000 gold.
