You can customize your character by wearing different avatars on your head.  With the dozens of available choices, you can wear different avatars to show different moods.  Some of the avatars can be purchased using game gold and some can only be purchased from PP Merchant in each capital city by using Phoenix Points.

 

 

Not only can you customize your individual appearance with such unique avatars, but also you and your friends can also do matching avatars to make a statement. In a way, they can be used like battle-standards. Imagine entering one of the battlefields with an entire team wearing pig hats and the opposing team wearing pumpkin hats!
