When you need to locate a target NPC or find the specific coordinates of a place, your map can be very useful. Press "M " to bring up your map, which will display information about your surroundings.

 

1. The NPCs indicated in yellow are the vendor NPCs.  They offer you various services such as mending, living skills teaching and teleportation among cities. They also sell reputation items or potions. The NPCs indicated in white are the quest-related NPCs. They will assign you quests once you reach certain levels or you may need to find them in some quests.

 

 

2. Your map can also inform you of the coordinate of a certain spot, which can greatly prompt youring find target monsters or NPCs. Drag your mouse to a spot on the map and the coordinate of the spot will be displayed on the right corner of your map.

 

 

3. You map  also shows the entrances to other areas. They are indicated in yellow and accompanied by the coordinates.

 

Small tip: you can right click and drag your mouse, which will command the overall view of the map.

 

4. You can click the world map icon in you map to bring up the world map in which all the addresses and paths in PDO are explicitly marked. It helps you know your whereabouts in the world and  choose the best path to another cities or towns.
