When we are facing those nasty super mobs and we have to vanquish them, when we want to enjoy more interactions with other players or when we want to guide or be guided in the game, a team turns out to be a smart choice.

To team up with other players, hold the 'SHIFT' key and right-click on a player that you wish to team up with. Then a function bar will be brought up, from which you can choose the Team icon.

 
The other player may see a clickable GREEN CIRCULAR BUTTON above the chat window. Left-click to accept or right-click to refuse the invitation.
 

 

When players cannot see each other, they can also build a team by following a few steps below.

Chat with the player who you want to team up with. 

 

When you see a player's name in your chat window, hold the 'SHIFT' key and right-click it to trigger the function bar with a Team icon on it. Before that, make sure you and the player are in the same cities of the state.

Players under level 3 reputation can form a 5-member team.  As the player's reputation level increases so does the size of the team the player is capable of teaming with.  Players with higher reputation levels can have a maximum of ten players on his/her team.

When you are in a team, you can turn on the tracking mode to save some mouse operations.

Hold the 'SHIFT' key, right-click on a player's name listed on the left side of your screen and click the rightmost Track icon on the function bar. Please notice that some other actions can also be performed from the function bar.

 

 

Remember:

If you go in the opposite direction to your team member, the tracking mode is automatically terminated.
If you go to a different state, you will be kicked out of a team by the system.
