As a new comer, you may be eager to make new friends in-game. And as we all know, other players may be just as eager to be your friend when they see you in the game. The sweetness of friendship starts when you take the initiative to talk to strangers.

 

Hold the 'SHIFT' key, right-click on a player you want to chat with, and click the first icon.

 

 After you click the icon, the name of the player will appear on the left of the entry line.

 

Type the words that you want to say into the entry line and hit ENTER key to send them out.

 

You can also insert the Expression Signs when you want to express yourself in a more vivid way. Simply click on the icon on the right of the entry line and choose the expressions you want to insert.

 

Sometimes you will find the chat channel is so hilarious that you can't help joining into the hot chat. Just hit the ENTER key to bring up the entry line and choose the desired channel you want to chat in.

 

You can also activate any of the 7 channels by using the corresponding shortcut key. Ctrl+1 for Nearby Channel, ctrl+2 for Local Channel, ctrl+3 for Team Channel, ctrl+4 for Guild Channel, ctrl+5 for Nation Channel, ctrl+6 for PP Channel, ctrl+7 for World Channel. Among the channels, the World Channel is the most popular.

Sometimes you may want to chat with the player whose name appeared on the chat window. To do this, simply hold the 'SHIFT' key, left-click on a player's name in the chat window to put his/her name onto the chatting list before your entry line.
