Q) How can I learn skills from the Skill Trainer?
A) Click the button on the left sheet to choose the skill you want to learn. On the right it displays the different levels of the skill, with the top one you are going to learn. If you meet the money and level requirements, the skill name will be in white color, which means you can learn it right now.
Q) Where and how can I learn those fighting skills?
A) Generally speaking, all fighting skills fall into two kinds: the Common Skills and the Elemental Skills. The Common Skills can only be acquired from the Skill Trainers in Phoenix Village, Sun City and other state capitals while the mastery of Elemental Skills is much more arduous and time-consuming. Q) What is a living skill?
A) A living skill is a unique feature of PDO. By mastering living skills, a player can possess the ability to craft different kinds of equipment.
Q) What can a living skill do for me?
A) A living Skill can help you craft heavily-enchanted equipment which are superior to the equipment you obtain by killing monsters or even bosses.
Q) What are needed when I craft my equipment?
A) You need a crafting hammer, enough materials of the required type and enough stamina.
Q) How can I get crafting materials?
A) You can get crafting materials by killing Non-humanoid monsters or by trading with other players.
Q) How can I learn the living skills?
A) You have to find certain NPCs in Sun City or other state capitals and pick up the skills you want by paying 500 gold. Blacksmiths will teach you Weapon Crafting, Jewelcrafters will teach you Jewel Crafting and Tailors will teach you Leatherworking or Armor Crafting. A rough blacksmith hammer will be automatically added into your inventory after you learn a living skill. The hammer given by Blacksmith has a limited amount of endurance and cannot be repaired.
Q) Are there any rules that I should pay attention to when I do item crafting?
A) Yes, you should be aware that there is a very important but simple rule: the better crafting materials you use, the better items you will get. The quality of materials you use plays an extremely important role in crafting. In addition, if you craft your items in accordance with the Five Element Theory, you will get equipment with more powerful and unique attributes.
Q) How can I get rid of 'Equipment Bound' items?
A) These are special quest materials used for crafting or items made from these special materials. To get rid of them, make sure you have finished your quest and then simply sell them to NPCs labeled as yellow gears in your area map.

Q) What are 'Treasure Map Fragments' and how do I use them?
A) They need to be put together by the Jeweler in Chak City. Nine pieces make a complete treasure map, which can be exchanged for reputation bonuses from the jeweler.
Q) What are the '8 Diagrams' and what are they for?
A) The '8-Diagrams' unfold a story about the conflicts involving the 4 States and the Zhou Dynasty. In order to find out the full story behind, you have to insist on doing your primary quests to find all the diagrams and then give them to Nestor in Sun City. He will then tell you the full story behind the Diagrams and give you big bonuses.
Q) Where/How do I get the '8 Diagrams'?
A) You can get them by doing the primary quests in your state. It is not easy to get all the diagrams in a short period of time as the quests may require high levels, unmatched skills and team spirits.
Q) What are Soul Spars and what should I do with them?
A) Soul Spars are the only monster 'drops' in 'Element Fairy Realm'. When you meet Skill Trainers, these spars can be exchanged for reputation, gold, experience or medicine. Only those Spars at the same level as the 1st digit of your character level (the 2nd digit of your character level is not '0') will be recognized.
Example: When your level is from 11 to 20(including 20), you can get Soul Spars (level 1); When your level is from 21 to 30(including 30), you can get Soul Spars (level 2). If your Soul Spars don't match your current level, you may sell them to other players. Skill Trainers only accept 12 Soul Spars from each player everyday.
Q) How can I join a guild?
A) You can apply to join a guild from the Guild Officer in your state capital after getting a citizenship. You can also go to the Guild Officer in Koni to apply for a guild membership.
